24 Tungsten tipped hoof boot studs complete with custom adapter to fit and remove studs for your hoof boots. We recommend a minimum 6 studs per boot fitted to 4 hoof boots. Extra studs, tools and manual stud drivers are all available.
These high quality tungsten tipped studs are designed and manufactured in the EU by Bestgrip Srl in Italy. The same studs are used by all major brands of hoof boots worldwide. 
Best Grip have designed the studs to deliver excellent traction and durabilty, due to the combination of a tungsten tip and unique thread design. The tungsten tip will outlast all alloy type studs. The thread design anchors the screw into the boot and will not reverse out, unlike standard screw threads. The screws once fitted correctly can be added or removed using the adapter tool.

We have tested the studs in all major manufacturers of hoof boots to ensure they fit the sole patterns and importantly do not protrude into the boot when fitted.

For fitting, keep it simple! As hoof boot soles are made out of a tougher compound than walking boot soles and vehicle tyres we recommend fitting using a powered screw driver to create a pilot hole followed with a manual driver to fit the stud accurately.  Our fitting guide is supplied with each set of studs.
